We hope this message is timely enough to allow everyone the time to get good deals on travel and hotel rates for their trip. Matt’s brother, Chris, has asked his wife getting a list of reasonably priced hotels in the area to Bob Cook – who is heading this presentation. Bob is going to pick a hotel based on price and block as many rooms as he can on his card for those ANGLICO brothers wishing to attend. He hopes this allows them to simply pay for their rooms as they get there.

Bob and Chris have inked the Matt Garvey presentation for the weekend of 6-7 June. A family/ANGLICO BBQ will take place on 6 Jun and the gravesite visit on 7 Jun. Bob will let us know what day he feels will be best for making the presentation of the bottle and certificate. We would also like to put together a coordinated ANGLICO toast, including all brothers everywhere, to make a toast to Matt all at the same time, hopefully, being able to get a video and a TON of selfies to post on the website and ANGLICO Facebook pages as a tribute to our brother who died on 9/11.

The Garvey family expects about 20-25 family members to attend and we have told the family that at least 12 ANGLICO brothers have shown interest in attending in person. If the list of brothers grows, we need to let the family know as it happens.

Also, I am going to set up a paypal account to accept money to help support the BBQ for alcohol and beer, as we know ANGLICO can put away some alcohol. I will get this account information out to everyone as soon as I can. I expect to allow it to give you a receipt of your payment and for Bob to link it to his account and be able to present it to the Garvey family to offset costs of the weekend’s festivities.
