THE ANGLICO MILITARY SINGLE BARREL WHISKEY CAMPAIGN
A brotherhood of US Special Operation Marines from ANGLICO has announced that throughout June 2015, they will be participating in the Jack Daniels Military Single Barrel Whiskey Program.
United States - May 30 2015: Founded in 1949, the Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO) is a US Marine Special Operations. The Veterans and Active Duty Marines has developed a lasting brotherhood and a 501 ( c ) 3 ANGLICO Association. They are pleased to announce that throughout June 2015 they will be participating within the Jack Daniels Military Single Barrel Whiskey program. The organization will use the program to invite their ANGLICO brothers, friends, and family to purchase Jack Daniels Single Bottles for personal use and/or donation
ANGLICO Brotherhood has developed an event committee of Volunteer ANGLICO Marines to iron out the many details associated with each presentation. The organization hopes that their Jack Daniels Military Single Barrel Whiskey Campaign is both successful and effective. Throughout the month, bottles will be available to purchase for donation to ANGLICO units. A special e-commerce website has been developed to help fulfill all orders for the 3rd and last Barrel ending on June 30, 2015 (or when the count of 252 bottles has been reached).
On Wednesday June 3 2015, the ANGLICO Jack Daniels Single Barrel Whiskey Campaign will kick-off the month with a special presentation. David Bolanos, a Marine who served in the 2nd ANGLICO during the eighties, and his son an Active Duty 1st ANGLICO Marine will present the Marine Corps Commandant General Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. (who served in the 2nd ANGLICO unit in the eighties) with a special bottle and the Jack Daniel’s Barrel Head Plaque. On the weekend of Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7 2015, the Airborne Marine Bob Cook will present the Garvey Family with a bottle and certificate. Over two dozen Garvey family members and several ANGLICO brothers will be in attendance to celebrate Matt Garvey’s life. GySgt Matt Garvey (2nd ANGLICO) was a brave Squad 1 Firefighter during the terrorist attacks of 9/11. On Thursday June 18 2015, the ANGLICO Association president Joe Luque and 1st ANGLICO brother Troy Simon will present the 1st ANGLICO with the 1st Jack Daniels Barrel and donated bottles. The month will end with a presentation to the post-Vietnam fallen Sgt. Chase’s Family as they receive a bottle and certificate.
“When the Jack Daniels Military Single Barrel program initially began, the main goal was to bring the Brothers of ANGLICO together and help the group stay strong.” said James Wilson an ANGLICO Marine Veteran. “It did provide us with the opportunity to honor one another, including our fallen ANGLICO Brothers. It will also allow us the chance to meet members of the community and bring awareness to Veteran Suicide, Homelessness, and Joblessness.”
As the Jack Daniels Single Barrel Whiskey Campaign moves forward, ANGLICO is recruiting partners and sponsors in order to help the program bring awareness to issues such as Veteran Suicide, Veteran Homelessness, and Veteran Joblessness. The organization is also currently utilizing this campaign to help to place an ANGLICO plaque on the Memorial Wall at the entrance of Semper Fidelis Memorial Park in The Marine Corps Museum.
